Parody of Russian glamorous hip-hop star Timati is becoming a sensation across Russia - and now globally.
'I thought - why not to tell about simple things like the khoton (a cowshed in Yakutia, the largest region in the Russian Federation, also known as the Sakha republic) - and manure. Why not?' Picture: Suus Bies Suus
Local comedian and Monty Python fan Ayal Adamov (nickname Urui Ayalaa) and his team Suus Bies Suus decided on some gentle mockery of videos eulogising money and luxurious life beyond the reach of most people.
In particular they poked fun at Timati and the song GQ by visiting the village of Namtsy, 83 km from regional capital Yakutsk, and made this epic video.
'Six months ago, I heard the song 'GQ' for the first time, and thought, why not make a parody,' he said.
'Now all the popular videos are about money, a sumptuous life. Everything is so pathetic and I thought - why not to tell about simple things like the khoton (a cowshed in Yakutia, the largest region in the Russian Federation, also known as the Sakha republic) - and manure. Why not?'
'To sing about it, I thought it would be fun. I did not expect that our video would be watched by people all across Russia.'
And admired, it transpires.

'It turns out that it is very difficult to rap, I thought it would be easier.
'We recorded all this for one week. The girl who sings in the video wanted to stay anonymous, so you cannot see her in the video. But now she agreed to be named - Rozanna Zykova.'
'The budget was tiny. We collected money for the petrol to reach the village Namtsy - and for pies. When we recorded the music, we started to think - where to shoot the video. There is a team from Namtsy village in our comedy club at North-East Federal University in Yakutsk. I knew that they spent all the summer in their home village. I called them and they just said - 'Of course, you can come!

'We did not expect such a popularity, we made this video only with local resources.'
The words are all in the local Yakut language.
'We didn't think it would be popular across Russia. If we knew, would have done it in Russian.'
In the video, Ayal names himself 'Zloi Mambet - is a collective image of all those rural guys who come to the city'.
He says of himself: 'I am a patriot. I love my republic very much. I wanted to show that rural youth is talented too. I'm from the village from Amginsky and Oymyakonsky Ulus (district). All the guys in the video are from Namtsy.
'And in general, rural guys are embarrassed that they are not from the city. I wanted to show them that they can be proud of it.

'Many people say that after the clip with the pink quilted jacket has become very fashionable.
'And people are crazy about Yakut girls. Our girls say that dozens of fans write them every day.'

Really, rural life is very similar in most countries of the World, with agriculture, cows, chicken, pigs, dogs etc.
