The centre will give access to a wide range of scientists, said Academician Valentin Vlasov, director of the centre which has been established in a three storey 3,000 square metre facility on the premises of the  Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine in Novosibirsk.

'There will be a bank of cells. We will be able to draw diseased cells from patients and work with them,' he said.

The centre will also work on regenerating human organs and tissues with stem cells.

It will welcome specialists in genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics from any biology-oriented institution.

'We are planning a wide range of research into biotechnology', he said. The facilities 'meet international superclean-space standards and can therefore be used to not only do research but also to produce drugs', said the Skrin Newswire.

To compile and further the research on tick-born diseases, testing and ways to successfully treat those suffering with these diseases would be fantastic. The people infected with tick-born diseases are also often infected with multiple, separate diseases that can come from one or more tick-bites, making diagnosis and treatment even more difficult. Unfortunately, there is an adverse political/medical climate toward these diseases in the US and other places. To have a center able to accurately and fully research them would be a huge service to the many suffering now and in the future.

If they can combine conventional and complementary medical research in Siberia, utilising Siberias natural healing potential (air, water, herbal, etc.) they could develop something really unique.
