Global warming - it's not going to get better, and if we don't stop burning fossil fuels like crazy things are going to get a lot, lot worse.

Thank you for sharing this very heartwarming story and I agree with everyone's comments. I hope the flood waters have subsided and people and their pets are able to safely return to settle back into your homes. Thank you to all the emergency responders and to all the people helping each other for setting a wonderful example of how we all should behave.

When everything is said and done, the animals we surround ourselves with reflect our humanity back at us. They teach us how to be human by touching our innocence inside with their own. Life is a formative grooming process for the world where next we migrate. The same is true for them. And We will not go there alone. Not go there as a single lordly species. What kind of heaven would that be? The people, the pets, all that we love and are loved by will speak for us on that great getting up day. And if a band of angels shows up as my grandmother believed and has a meeting in the middle of the air, why not that? We are all great and small aspects of God Thank you for this glimpse into your world and into your hearts. I would love to visit one day. Thank you again
