The Siberian Times is an independent web-based news and information resource updated constantly, aiming to give Russians from Siberia's many and varied sub-regions the chance to showcase their homeland to the world.

Just as much, we want to be a window on Siberia for anyone inquisitive about our remarkable land mass stretching from the Urals to the Pacific, and those who live here.

The Siberian Times is produced by a team of Russian journalists and researchers, with assistance from Western journalists who know Siberia. Our Editor, who has full editorial control, is Russian. We strive for accuracy, and where we fall short we will say so and publish corrections.

As we grow, we are keen to attract advertising and interested in collaborative ventures with those who share our aims. We're also keen at this time to hear from Siberian journalists and photographers- and others too -who would like to help our project and who may enjoy the experience and find it worthwhile.
