Those in the jeep all died from drowning unable to get out of the vehicle.
Locals expressed shock that the bridegroom had decided to try and cross the bed of the river when a bridge was open just 3km away.
The decision cost the lives of ten people.
Regional head Sholban Kara-ool said today: 'It hurts and is such a pity that the driver did not use the bridge, which was only 3 km away from the accident site.

Earlier it was believed that the group were going on a camping holiday but today it was confirmed they were travelling to a wedding.
It is known two people had got out of the car before the crossing.

The men were described as ‘too stressed’ to face police interrogators.
Emergency medical staff used a helicopter to rush to the accident scene.
Survivors are being given psychological assistance.
The vehicle also carried three sheep.
Archeologists discovered a new stone bracelet, two sharp pins, a marble ring and fox tooth pendants.
